NewsAzure in Denmark

Today, Microsoft announced the plans for 3 large datacentres in Denmark. The datacenters are set to be powered by 100% reneable energy, and are not only focused on Azure but other Microsoft services as well.

The opening of a new Azure region in Denmark, enables customers formerly blocked by war governed data sovereignty to embrace the full stack of Azure services and all the benefits therein. In relation to this, the Danish Defense and the State IT Department showed great interest in to this announcement, as depicted in the video from the original press release.
